The model number identifies the type of device you have. You may be asked for the model number of your Surface Duo if you contact Microsoft Support.
The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number is a unique 15-digit code on your Surface Duo. It identifies your specific device to your mobile carrier when you’re connected to their mobile network using the SIM card in your Surface Duo.
Do the following:
Tap Settings, and then tap About.
Do one or both of the following:
- Look under Model & hardware to find the model number of your Surface Duo.
- Look under IMEI to find the IMEI number.
