Consider the following scenario:
You have computers that are running Windows RT, Windows 8, or Windows Server 2012.
You run an application that calls a ReaderWriterLockSlim class in Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 on the computer.
In this scenario, the application freezes and cannot be used.
This issue occurs because a deadlock event is not released in .NET Framework 4.0 after it calls into the kernel OS primitive functions.
