When users try to use the eDiscovery & Hold function to search mailboxes that have online archives, the estimate gets completed. However, when users try to use the Copy Search Resultsfunction, the attempt fails and returns the following error message:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object
This error affects users who have primary on-premises mailboxes and online archive mailboxes. Because of this error, users can’t export data for legal action.
