Report organization
Previous version
New version
Report was sorted by assignments' due date. To view more assignments, you selected Load more.
Report is automatically filtered for the last 28 days. To view earlier assignments, select Last 28 days and adjust the timeframe.
You can also choose to filter by student, by assignment, or by category.
Tip: Use the Custom range on the calendar filter to include assignments that aren't due yet. This can help you keep students on track to completing projects on time!
Assignment completion status
Previous version
Assignment status counter used to show the number of students who fell in each category.
New version
Assignment status is now called Progress status. You can now see how many students are in each stage of completion, and scan for where students need reminders. Selecting a yellow or red segment of the chart will reveal only those students who still need to complete that stage of the assignment. Select any students' name to send them a reminder message.
Color coding indicates how near the due date of the assignment is.
Turn-in statistics
Previous version
Turned-in stats included the number of submissions turned in on time, late, or multiple times.
New version
Now called Turn-in statistics, the update to this tab includes the number of missing submissions, those submitted late, and those returned for revision.
-
Select any number to see which students are in that category and whether or not they have viewed the assignment.
-
Select any student's name to launch a conversation with them.
Single student filter
Previous version
Previously, filtering for a single student provided a graph of that student's progress toward completing each assignment, and when it was turned in.
New version
With the new report, filtering for a single student provides top level information about their grade and submission trends, as well as how their performance compares to the class average.
Grade trends and distribution
Previous version
The Distribution and Trend view of grades was available by using a filter after selecting Grades from the class overview page.
New version
Select Assignments from the class overview page and scroll to Average grade. Now, the grades Distribution and Trend views are available by selecting the desired tab.
