This article describes the Microsoft Outlook 2010 issues that are fixed in the hotfix package that is dated December 13, 2011.

INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

You experience the following issues when you use a German keyboard to create a new email message in Outlook 2010:

  • You press CTRL+ALT+Q in the To field. However, the at sign (@) is not inserted as expected.

  • You press CTRL+ALT+Q at the beginning of the body of the email message. However, the at sign (@) is not inserted as expected.

Resolution

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problems that are described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.
