After the Microsoft Exchange Server March 2024 Security Update (SU) is installed, download domains no longer work as expected in some versions of Microsoft Outlook. Users who are using Outlook on the Web (OWA) to access their email can no longer see inline images. Additionally, no attachments can be downloaded by using the OWA client.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a known issue in the products that are listed in the "Applies to" section, and is working on a solution to address it.  


To work around this issue, use the Outlook desktop app to access email and download attachments. The Outlook desktop app is not affected by this issue. 

You can also temporarily disable the Download Domains feature. For more information, see Disable Download Domains in your organization.
