Edit images in Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat

Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat allows you to easily create AI-generated images by simply describing what you want to see. Once Copilot Chat creates your image, you can further refine your images by adjusting styles, colors, and other details, making it a powerful tool for visual creativity within your workflow.

Edit an image in Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat

Edit AI-generated images in Copilot Chat using the image editing side pane by completing the following steps:

Go to Copilot Chat and sign in with your Microsoft 365 work or school account.

In the Message Copilot compose box, ask Microsoft 365 Copilot to generate an image and describe what you want the image to be and what it should look like.

Once Copilot has generated an image, select the image to open the image editing side pane.
In the editing pane, you can select various tools to edit and adjust the image, like adding text or cropping the image.
Once you’re done adjusting your image, you can select:
1. Download to download the image to your device.
2. Copy to copy the image that you can paste elsewhere.
3. Designer to open the image in the Designer agent within Copilot Create.
4. More options to view My Creations, Edit in Pages, or Send feedback to Microsoft.
