EWS search request displays inaccurate results

Symptoms 

When you run a search through an Exchange Web Services (EWS) request, Microsoft Outlook returns inaccurate results.

Resolution 

To fix this issue, install the following updates: 

• Description of the security update 1 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2019: March 12, 2024 (KB5036401)

• Description of the security update 5 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2019: March 12, 2024 (KB5036402)

• Description of the security update 12 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2016: March 12, 2024 (KB5036386)
