Microsoft 365 Copilot Pages lets you create, edit, and preview runnable code directly inside a page, which is ideal for quick prototypes or lightweight apps. When you’re ready for advanced features, you can hand off your work to App Builder without losing context or formatting.

If you have a work or school (Entra ID) account, Copilot Pages is available to those who have SharePoint or OneDrive storage, including ones without a Microsoft 365 Copilot license.

If you have a personal Microsoft account, Copilot Pages is available if you’re a Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, or Premium subscriber. Learn more about Microsoft 365 Copilot licensing and Microsoft 365 Copilot plans.
Start in Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat

Sign in to microsoft365.com.

In the upper right corner, switch to the Web tab and select Try GPT-5.

Describe to Copilot what you want to build. For example:
Create an interactive, in-memory-only app to evaluate vendors after each project. The app should allow users to rate vendors on criteria such as delivery time, quality, and communication. Each evaluation should be associated with a specific project and reviewer. -
Select Send.
Preview the code

Once you see the code, toggle the Preview button at the top of the page to interact with your newly created app.

Continue chatting with Copilot to refine your interactive app.
Handoff to App BuilderÂ
Once you’re satisfied with your interactive app, select Create app.

Keep your code modular: Smaller, well-structured snippets transfer more cleanly.

Validate before handoff: Run your code on the Copilot page to catch errors early.

Use consistent naming: Avoid confusion during import for variables and components.
Publish your app
Your page content and code will open in App Builder with context preserved. Complete setup in App Builder.
