Symptoms

A server that is running Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) 2010 may crash, and the following Stop error occurs:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1)
Arguments: Arg1: 000000000000002c, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000000, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
Arg4: fffff8800473bad9, address which referenced memory

Resolution

To resolve this problem, install the hotfix package that is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

2735208 Rollup 3 for Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) 2010 Service Pack 2
