FIX: E_OUTOFMEMORY error when you use the "use" attribute in a SOAP application on a Windows Embedded Compact 7 device

Introduction

This article describes an issue that triggers E_OUTOFMEMORY errors when you use theĀ use attribute in a SOAP application in Windows Embedded Compact 7. An update is available to resolve this issue. Before you install this update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.

Symptoms

You have a SOAP application on a Windows Embedded Compact 7 device that has the August 2015 update installed. When you set the use attribute of remote methods as literal, the encoding of remote operations is not parsed. Additionally, the SOAP operation encoding style check incorrectly returns an E_OUTOFMEMORY error.
