This article describes an issue that occurs when you build an operating system (OS) image by using the Romimage tool in Windows Embedded Compact 2013. An update is available to resolve this issue. Before you install this update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.

Symptoms

You use the Romimage tool in Windows Embedded Compact 2013 to build an OS image. However, if the image contains several large files, the tool throws an "out of space" error.

Note The issue does not occur until the image size is about 170 megabytes (MB). When the files that are included in the image further increase the image size, this issue occurs.
