The Microsoft Adaptive Hub helps you augment traditional keyboards with adaptive buttons and wired switches. With the Adaptive Hub, you can easily create your own custom inputs.
Device requirements
The Adaptive Hub and Microsoft Accessory Center work with PCs with Windows 10/11 installed. To use it with companion devices running MacOS, iOS, Chrome, and Android, configure it with the Microsoft Accessory Center on your Windows PC.

Explanation of ports on the Adaptive Hub
Your Adaptive Hub can be paired with Microsoft adaptive buttons and connected to switches made by other manufacturers. Here’s an explanation of the ports available on your Adaptive Hub.

Use this port to connect to other assistive tech switches. |

Connect this port to a power-source with a USB-C cable to charge your Adaptive Hub. |

USB-C ports (3 ports) |
Connect to Microsoft adaptive buttons with a USB-C cable. When your Adaptive Hub is connected to power, these ports will also charge your buttons. |

Bluetooth button and Bluetooth LED (3 lights) |
Switch or pair to another PC or device when you press this button—the LED will tell you which device is connected. For more info, see How to connect the Adaptive Hub to your PC. |

How to connect the Adaptive Hub to your PC
Once you’ve removed your Adaptive Hub from its box, here’s how to connect it to your PC.

Press the power button on your Adaptive Hub.

On your PC, a notification will appear. It will ask to connect the Adaptive Hub to your PC with Bluetooth. Select Connect.
Note: If you don’t see the notification, select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Add a device > Bluetooth. Select Microsoft Adaptive Hub from the list.
How to connect your Adaptive Hub to another PC
If you want to pair your Adaptive Hub to another PC, here’s how:

Press the Bluetooth button on the Adaptive Hub to switch to another paired device slot. Make sure the light by your Bluetooth button changes to another number.

Press and hold the Bluetooth button until the light starts flashing.

On the PC you want to pair, wait for a notification to appear. The notification will ask if you want to connect your Adaptive Hub to it.

Select Connect to pairyour hub.

Charging your Adaptive Hub and adaptive buttons
Here’s how to charge your Adaptive Hub:

Connect the included USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the shortest side of your Adaptive Hub.

Connect the other end of the charging cable to power, like a USB port.
Here’s how to charge your adaptive buttons:

Make sure your Adaptive Hub is connected to power.

Connect the included USB-C cable to the USB-C port your adaptive button.

Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a USB-C port on your Adaptive Hub.
How to use profiles on your Adaptive Hub
