KB4013115 - FIX: CREATE OR ALTER statement applied on a DDL trigger fails on the next execution in SQL Server 2016

In Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 1, you execute the CREATE OR ALTER statement one or more times. If the statement is applied on a data definition language (DDL) trigger, the next execution fail, and you receive the following error message:

Msg 2714, Level 16, State 2, Procedure safety
There is already an object named trigger_name in the database.

This fix is included in Cumulative Update 2 for SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 1.

Each new build for SQL Server 2016 contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous build. We recommend that you install the latest build for SQL Server 2016.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
