Symptoms
Assume that you have a Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) package. When you run a Process Full operation on the package, the processing may be unsuccessful. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
“Execute CREATE PARTITIONS: Error: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AdomdClientUI, Version=14.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."
Notes
-
If you examine the “drive:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AdomdClient” folder, you find that the corresponding Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AdomdClient.dll file is present.
-
The event log of the Analysis Services (AS) processing task in SSIS 2016 is less than 10 percent of the log in SSIS 2014. Additionally, AS processing steps are not logged.
