KB4490435 - FIX: "The given key was not present in the dictionary" occurs if you do a preview in the CDC Source in SQL Server 2016

Symptoms

Assume that you have a Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) package that uses the Change Data Capture (CDC) Source component. After you install one of the cumulative updates that are described in KB 4038210, when you try to do a preview in the CDC Source task, you may receive error messages that resemble the following:

The given key was not present in the dictionary

Status

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

Resolution
