Symptoms

When you run a Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) query in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or 2017 multidimensional model database, you may notice that the DAX query requires more than 200 times of memory than the size of the database.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
