Symptoms
When you use SQL Server 2019 to generate an estimated query plan for PolyBase queries or when QDS is turned on, SQL Server may dump and error log may contain an error message that resembles the following:
* Location: tmpilb.cpp:LineNumber
* Expression: fNoReaderWriterConflict
Or
* Location: tmpilb.cpp:LineNumber
* Expression: fNoWriters
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
