This article describes the update for daylight saving time (DST) changes for the Republic of Fiji in Windows Embedded Compact 2013.
 

Important: Before you install this update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.

Republic of Fiji

This update supports the cancellation of daylight savings time (DST) for 2021 for the Republic of Fiji. 

Because of the October 10, 2021 order from the Fijian Government, DST in the Republic of Fiji will not be observed in 2021. Therefore, clocks will not be forwarded by an hour at 02:00 on November 14, 2021.

The Windows Embedded Compact 2013 Monthly Update (December 2021) is now available from Microsoft. To download the update, go to the Device Partner Center (DPC).

Prerequisites

This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been installed.

Restart requirement

After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:

  • On the Build menu, click Clean Solution, and then click Build Solution.

  • On the Build menu, click Rebuild Solution.

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.

Update replacement

This update does not replace any other updates.
