Microsoft 365 subscription plans

Microsoft 365 subscription plans are available in many countries/regions. In countries/regions where subscription plans are not available, you may still be able to buy an on-premises Office suite, a one-time purchase which includes classic versions of the productivity apps, but no additional security or storage features.

When buying Microsoft 365, it’s important that you select the country/region in which you will be billed and in which you’ll use the software. Selecting a different country/region may cause problems with subscription setup and renewal.

Availability of Office 365 Government varies by country/region.

All Microsoft 365 and Office 365 suites are governed by the Modern Lifecycle Policy: they are supported continuously provided that customers maintain an up-to-date configuration.

​​​​​​​Microsoft 365 is designed to work with the latest browsers and versions of Office. If you use older browsers or versions of Office that are not in mainstream support: 

• Microsoft won’t deliberately prevent you from connecting to the service, but the quality of your Microsoft 365 experience may diminish over time.

• Microsoft won’t provide code fixes to resolve non-security related problems.

Basic editing is available for free on iOS devices with screen sizes of 10.1 inches or less. The extra features below are available on iOS tablets and phones with a qualifying Microsoft 365 subscription. A qualifying Microsoft 365 subscription is also required to create and edit documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint on the iPad Pro®.

​​​​​Office for Android™ (including Outlook for Android) can be installed on tablets and phones running any of the supported versions of Android and have an ARM-based or Intel x86 processor. Starting on July 1, 2019, support will be limited to only the last four major versions of Android.
