Microsoft Viva is an employee experience platform built right into Microsoft Teams. It’s a suite of apps that give you the ability to connect, gain insight, learn, and reach your goals in the flow of your work, anywhere you work.
Following is a brief description of each app. Select the heading for an app to jump to more information about it. Note that you may or not have all of the Viva apps depending on which ones your organization has made available.

Add a Viva app to Teams
You can add any of the Viva apps your organization has made available in Teams. You can also pin them to your Teams app bar for easy access. In addition, you can access some of the apps on the web.
To add a Viva app to Teams:

Select + Apps on the app bar (on left side of Teams).

In the search box, enter Viva.

Select the Viva app you want.

Viva Connections
With Viva Connections, you can find tools, news, and resources provided by your organization on a dashboard within Teams on the desktop or on your mobile device. For example, your organization may provide cards (as illustrated below) that allow you to easily access things like your paystub, schedule, assigned training, and more. What you see will depend on what your organization has made available.
Viva Engage
Viva Engage (formerly known as Yammer) is available right in Teams and on the web. It’s a great way to engage with people across your organization, including leaders, coworkers, and communities. Join communities and share ideas, experiences, and questions. You can also create communities. When you create a community, you automatically become an owner of that community.
Viva Glint
Viva Glint is a survey tool that your organizational leaders send to you on a periodic basis to gauge the health of the organization and your happiness and satisfaction. When you provide feedback, your organization can get immediate visibility into your employee experience so they can create action plans to make your experience better and happier.
Viva Goals
Viva Goals is a tool to help you align to your organization’s strategic priorities, help drive results and understand your impact. It uses Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that your organization, department, and teams develop. As an individual, you can have your own set of OKRs that you can update and track and see how you’re contributing to your organization goals.
Viva Insights
Improve your productivity and wellbeing through data-driven, privacy-protected insights and recommendations. When you use the Viva Insights app, you’ll see recommendations to improve your wellbeing, such scheduling a no-meeting day, making time to focus and making time for learning. You’ll also get a productivity breakdown of your meetings, meeting effectiveness, and ways to improve. Viva Insights also provides information like how much time you spend collaborating with colleagues, your communication habits, and more.
Viva Learning
Learn in the flow of work with content provided by your organization as well as other providers such as Microsoft, LinkedIn, and more. You can browse through courses that meet your interests, see recommended content, see what kind of learning courses are trending in your organization, and share content with colleagues.
Viva Pulse
Using small, quick surveys, you can give feedback quickly and easily when your managers, leaders, and coworkers seek it. You can quickly share your experience and suggestions and help managers pinpoint what's working well and which areas to focus on over time.
Viva Topics
See and contribute to expertise across your organization on topics, projects, products, processes, and customers. The content appears as topic pages and topic centers created and updated by AI.
