The School Connection App in Teams Consumer, which allows parents and guardians to monitor their students’ learning at school is being sunset and will no longer be available after the 30th of April, 2025.Â
We constantly evaluate the state of our product portfolio and determine whether we have the right allocation of resources across our products and services to ensure we are serving our customers and supporting the Microsoft business. This decision provides Microsoft with the opportunity to focus our efforts on other Microsoft Education products and services that we believe will meet our customer needs.Â
No, only the School Connection app is being sunset. Education Institutes will be able to use the weekly guardian email digest to share updates and the Parents app allowing educators to communicate with parents and guardiansÂ
