Symptoms
In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 environment, the Set-ServerComponentState cmdlet does not honor the write scope that is defined in the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) management scope.
Cause
This problem occurs because the scope is not validated during cmdlet processing.
Resolution
Exchange Server 2016
To resolve this problem, install Cumulative Update 10 for Exchange Server 2016 or a later cumulative update for Exchange Server 2016.
