The remaining quantity on a blanket order is calculated incorrectly after you cancel a related regular order in Microsoft Dynamics SL

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Purchasing in Microsoft Dynamics SL:

  • You create a new blanket order in the Purchase Order Maintenance (04.250.00) screen.

  • You create multiple new regular purchase orders in the Purchase Order Maintenance (04.250.00) screen. Each new regular purchase order represents part of the total quantity of the blanket order.

  • On one of the regular purchase orders, you set the value in the Status box to Canceled.

  • You create a new regular purchase order from the remaining quantity on the blanket order.

In this scenario, the value that appears in the Quantity field for the new purchase order is less than you expect. This value does not include the quantity from the canceled purchase order.
