This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 for all regions.
Symptoms
Assume that you post cost amounts and quantities by using a specified cost center in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. When you run the Period calculationactivity, the value in the Cost rate fixed field in the Maintain cost rates dialog box is always zero. However, you expect the cost rate to be calculated based on the existing records.

You must have Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 or Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 installed to apply this hotfix.
Restart requirement
You are not required to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
