Why can't I view all the photos on my phone?

To minimize network bandwidth and maximize performance, we'll show your 2,000 most recent photos and screenshots from your Android device.

We can only show photos that are in the Camera Roll or Screenshots folders on your Android device. If you moved or saved your photos to a different folder, they will not appear in the Phone Link.

Can I delete my photos?

Yes, you can. Photos you delete in the Phone Link  will be deleted from your Android device's local storage, but won't impact any cloud backups that you may have.

Why am I getting an "Unable to delete photos" error?

You may see this error if you have already deleted this photo on your Android device and the photo hasn’t refreshed in the Phone Link. In this case, try refreshing the photos page to see if your image is still displayed.

If you’re still receiving an error, open the Link to Windows app on your Android device and then try deleting the photo from the Phone Link  on your PC again. We also recommend that you have the latest version of both the Phone Link on your PC and the Link to Windows app on your Android device.

Can I view videos that are on my Android device?

No. The Phone Link  currently only supports the ability to view images, not videos.

Can I edit a photo that's on my Android device?

Yes. Phone Link supports the ability to copy a photo from your Android device to your PC, and then edit that copy in the Photos app on your Windows PC. Learn more about editing photos in the Your Phone app
