This article describes an update that includes the December 2013 and August 2014 cumulative time zone updates for Windows Embedded Compact 7. Before you install the update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.
Symptoms
This update changes the time zone data to accommodate the daylight saving time (DST) changes in several countries in Windows Embedded Compact 7.
The changes that are included in December 2013 cumulative are as follows:-
Mid-Atlantic Time:
The Mid-Atlantic time zone is deprecated in this update. -
Morocco Standard Time:
Morocco extends the 2013 DST end date from September 29, 2013 to October 27, 2013. Beginning in 2014, the DST period in Morocco begins at 2:00 A.M. on the last Sunday in March, and ends at 3:00 A.M. on the last Sunday in October. -
Libya Standard Time:
Libya does not end DST in 2013. From 2014, it stays at UTC+2 without DST. -
Fiji Standard Time:A hotfix is available to update the Daylight Saving Time for the "(UTC+12:00) Fiji" time zone for Windows Operating Systems.

Jordan Standard Time:Time zone changes for Jordan, Brazil, and Fiji.
For 2014 and onward, Jordan changes its DST start time from the last Thursday in March at midnight to the last Friday in March at 1:00 A.M., and changes its DST end time from the last Friday in October at 1:00 A.M. to the last Friday in October at midnight. For more information, see -

For 2014 only, Fiji changes its DST end time from January 19 at 3:00 A.M. to January 19 at 2:00 A.M. For more information, see -

For 2014 and onward, Paraguay changes its DST end date from the second Sunday in April to the fourth Sunday in March. For more information, see -

For 2014 only, Turkey changes its DST start time from March 30 at 3:00 A.M. to March 31 at 3:00 A.M. For more information, see -

For 2014 only, the DST start time is changed from the last Saturday in April (April 26) at midnight to the last Saturday in April (April 26) at 11:00 P.M., and the DST end time is changed from the first Saturday in September (Sept. 6) at midnight to the first Sunday in September (Sept. 7) at 1:00 A.M. Starting on November 10, 2013, the display name is changed from "(UTC-05:00) Bogota, Lima, Quito" to "(UTC-05:00) Bogota, Lima, Quito, Rio Branco." For more information, see -
Egypt Standard Time:August 2014 cumulative time zone update for Windows operating systems.
For 2014, Egypt sets its DST start time at Thursday, May 15 at one minute before midnight, and sets its DST end time at Thursday, September 25 at one minute before midnight. For more information, see -

After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:

On the Build menu, click Clean Solution, and then click Build Solution.
