Summary
This article describes an update that improves the backup of Hyper-V Integrated components and that fixes the following issues.

Issue 1
When you try to perform a live backup of virtual machines in Hyper-V 2012 R2 by using the Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS), the backup operation is unsuccessful. -
Issue 2
When the Backup Guest operating system has multiple partitions, the system may fail because of time-outs in icsvc!CHyperVICProvider.
