Summary
This article describes an update that improves the backup of Hyper-V Integrated components and that fixes the following issues.

Issue 1When you try to perform a live backup of virtual machines in Hyper-V 2012 R2 by using the Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS), the backup operation is unsuccessful.

Issue 2When the Backup Guest operating system has multiple partitions, the system may fail because of time-outs in icsvc!CHyperVICProvider.
