You can add almost any type of video, image, or audio file to a Clipchamp video.
Video file formats supported by Clipchamp
Clipchamp video editor will accept MP4, MOV, WEBM, AVI, DIVX, FLV, 3GP, WMV, VOB, DCM, and MKV video container files, as well as a wide variety of video codecs. Some of these file types will have to be automatically converted before they can be used in your project so you may have to wait longer for these files to load.
If you’re not sure if your input file is supported, simply add it, and see if Clipchamp is able to recognize it.
