Symptoms
In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 environment, when you log on to the Exchange Admin Center (EAC) to create a new receive connector, the button to select the Frontend Transport or Hub Transport receive connector role isn't available.
Cause
This issue occurs because the available server roles can't be queried correctly.
Resolution
To fix this issue, install Cumulative Update 4 for Exchange Server 2016 or a later cumulative update for Exchange Server 2016.
