Windows 10

The Windows DVD Player app is available free for a limited time for people upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1 with Windows Media Center.

Note: Windows Media Center isn't included in Windows 10 and will be removed when you upgrade to Windows 10. After the upgrade completes, Windows DVD Player will download automatically to your PC.

Windows Media Center isn’t included in Windows 8.1. It is available if you’ve already purchased the Windows Media Center Pack for Windows 8.1 Pro.


Windows 8

Windows Media Center isn’t included in Windows 8. It is available if you’ve already purchased the Windows Media Center Pack for Windows 8 Pro.


Windows RT, Windows RT 8.1

Windows Media Center isn't available for Windows RT or Windows RT 8.1. Visit the Windows Store to find entertainment apps.


Windows 7

Windows Media Center is included in Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate editions.


Windows Vista

Windows Media Center is included in Windows Vista Home Premium and Ultimate editions.
