Change units used for margin measurement in Word

Set the margin unit of measurement to inches, centimeters, millimeters, points, or picas.

Note

This change also affects the ruler and other measurements.

Go to File > Options > Advanced.
Scroll down to Display and select the unit you want in Show measurements in units of.
Select OK.
