Applies To
SQL Server 2016 Developer - duplicate (do not use) SQL Server 2016 Enterprise - duplicate (do not use) SQL Server 2016 Enterprise Core - duplicate (do not use)

Symptoms

Assume that you use Tabular Model Scripting Language (TMSL) to manage tabular databases in an instance of SQL Server 2016 Analysis Services. Also assume that you set the SecurityFilteringBehavior as Both, and the relationship's From Table option has the RLS condition set. In this situation, you receive an error message that resembles the following:

Note

Table 'Table_Name' is configured for row-level security, introducing constraints on how security filters are specified. The setting for Security Filter Behavior on relationship 'Relationship_Name' cannot be Both.
