Symptoms

When you use SQL Server 2016 Master Data Services (MDS) to create a version copy of a model that contains an entity, and the entity contains collections but does not contain consolidated members, the version copy operation fails.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is included in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
