Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have a report that accepts a DateTime type parameter in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Reporting Services (SSRS).

  • You open the SSRS web portal on a computer that uses a different time zone setting than the setting that's used by the SSRS report server.

  • You create a subscription that accepts a DateTime type parameter to subscribe to the report.

In this scenario, when the subscription is run, incorrect data is returned.

Resolution

This fix for this problem is included in Cumulative Update 3 for SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 1.

Each new build for SQL Server 2016 contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous build. We recommend that you install the latest build for SQL Server 2016.
