Improvements and fixes

This update contains the following fixes in SharePoint Server 2019:

  • Fixes an issue in which no warning appears in the Search Result Preview of the query builder if an invalid query is entered in the query box. After you install this update, a warning will be added in the Search Result Preview if the query cannot be understood.

  • Fixes an issue in which the metadata column value of a list item is not updated instantly when you switch to a different list and return.

This security update also contains a fix in Project Server:

  • Fixes an issue in which you cannot update a project calendar or task calendar for a project by using the client-side object model (CSOM).
