Symptoms
If a database availability group (DAG) is in Datacenter Activation Coordination (DAC) mode, the Start-DatabaseAvailabilityGroup command fails and generates an error when you run it against a member server that was stopped previously by using Stop-DatabaseAvailabilityGroup.
Resolution
To fix this issue, install the following cumulative update, as appropriate:
- Description of the security update for Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 and 2016: August 9, 2022 (KB5015322)
- Description of the security update for Microsoft Exchange Server 2013: August 9, 2022 (KB5015321)
