You can connect an existing row to Azure Boards, or add a new row and connect it.

Select an existing row, or select Add Row to add a new one.

Add a title and choose an owner.

Select Connect to a project, then Azure Boards.

Choose your Azure DevOps organization.

Choose a project, and select Connect.

Add items by typing some text in the box, and then selecting the phases or key dates you want to show in your roadmap.

When you're done, select Add, and select the X to close the pane.
The Start and End dates for these items will stay in sync with Azure Boards, but you can change the name and Status to fit your purposes.
