Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You create a test case in Microsoft Test Manager 2010.
-
You create a test step that contains a variable in the test step description or in the expected result field for the test case.
-
You set the variable to a value that corresponds to a long data string.
-
You run the test case by using Microsoft Test Runner.
In this scenario, the variable value for the test step description or for the expected result field is truncated. You expect the test step description or the value of the expected result field to be wrapped to the next line.

Prerequisites
To apply this hotfix, you must have Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed.
Restart requirement
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. We recommend that you close all instances of Visual Studio 2010 SP1 and exit all .NET Framework applications before you install this hotfix.
Hotfix replacement information
This hotfix does not replace any other hotfix.
