Symptoms

When you use SQL Server Profiler to trace a remote procedure call (RPC) event class in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or SQL Server 2014, an access violation may occur.

Note This issue applies to the following RPC events:

  • RPC Output Parameter
  • RPC:Completed
  • RPC:Starting

      

Resolution

The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
