Not sure if this is the right fix? We've added this issue to our memory dump diagnostic which can confirm.
Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You install update 968389 on a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008.
-
You run an application that uses the Schannel functions to handle the user authentication requests.
In this scenario, the memory usage of the application keeps increasing.
Note This issue occurs if the application calls the InitializeSecurityContext function or the AcceptSecurityContext function.Cause
The Schannel.dll module does not free the allocated memory space.
