The Designer feature is available only to Microsoft 365 subscribers. If you don't see the Designer button, ensure that Office "connected experiences" are turned on by going to File > Account > Manage Settings and checking the box for "Turn on optional connected experiences."

For Copilot users, Designer is now part of Copilot. To find it, select Copilot on the Home tab, then select Design Suggestions. You'll see suggested ideas from Copilot alongside Designer layouts you're already familiar with.

Select the Design tab on the ribbon.

Select Designer to open the Designer pane on the right side of the window.

Browse through the design ideas and select the one you want. Your slide will be updated accordingly.
Tip:Â To exit Designer without making any changes, select the "X" at the top-left corner of the Designer pane.
