Update your password in Outlook for Mac

Outlook for Microsoft 365 for Mac Outlook 2024 for Mac Outlook 2021 for Mac

  1. Open Outlook for Mac.

  2. Select Outlook > Settings > Accounts.

  3. If your account uses Microsoft 365 or Exchange with modern authentication, select Manage to remove and re-add the account. Sign in again when prompted after changing your password.

  4. Verify that Outlook can send and receive email.
