Install text-to-speech languages in Windows 10 and Windows 11. Within Windows 10 and Windows 11 settings, you can install different language packs to translate and read content aloud in different languages. To install a new language, Open the Start menu on your Windows device and select Settings > Time & Language.

The transcribe feature converts speech to a text transcript with each speaker individually separated. After your conversation, interview, or meeting, you can revisit parts of the recording by playing back the timestamped audio and edit the transcription to make corrections.

Select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners . Open Printers & scanners settings. Next to Add a printer or scanner, select Add device. Wait for it to find nearby printers, then locate the one you want to use, and select Add device.

Change your background in Microsoft Teams meetings. If you want to change what appears behind you in your video meeting or call, you can either blur your background, replace it entirely with any image you want, or use Teams virtual background template.

Manage your call queue and auto attendant settings. Select Settings and more next to your profile picture at the top of Teams to manage call settings in Microsoft Teams. You can block callers, forward calls, simultaneouly ring, and set your default calling app.

Text-to-speech (TTS) is the ability of your computer to play back written text as spoken words. Depending upon your configuration and installed TTS engines, you can hear most text that appears on your screen in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and OneNote.

Use voice recognition in Windows. On Windows 11 22H2 and later, Windows Speech Recognition (WSR) will be replaced by voice access starting in September 2024. Older versions of Windows will continue to have WSR available.

As of October 5, 2023, the new Microsoft Teams app for Windows and Mac is generally available. The new Teams is also in public preview for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and government cloud customers. Features and enhancements to Microsoft Teams will be available exclusively in the new Teams.
