Learn how to redeem a gift card, code, or Office product key and spend your balance at Microsoft Store online, on Windows, or Xbox.

Install Microsoft 365 2019 or 2016 on a PC. Remember a one-time purchase version of Microsoft 365 is licensed for one install only. Depending on your browser, select Open file (in Edge or Internet Explorer), Setup (in Chrome), or Save File (in Firefox).

If you recently purchased a Windows device that includes Xbox games or PC Game Pass, use the steps below to find and redeem your Digital Direct offers. Select the Microsoft Store icon on the taskbar, or, in the search box on the taskbar, type Microsoft Store, and then select it from the results.

If you’re unable to read all 25 characters of your digital code, you’ll need to request a replacement code by contacting aka.ms/contactxboxsupport. When you contact support, make sure to provide the proof of purchase, the serial number, and a picture of the damaged code.

Find your files in Windows 11 using one of these methods. Search from the taskbar: Type the name of a document (or a keyword from it) into the search box on the taskbar. You'll see results for documents across your PC and OneDrive.
