Cast to a display from a Windows PC. You can wirelessly connect your PC to a TV, projector, or other kind of external display that supports Miracast. Turn on your TV, projector, or other display. If you're using a Miracast dongle or adapter, make sure it's plugged in to the display.

After you have installed the Media Feature Pack, there are additional apps that can be installed from the Microsoft Store to regain additional functionality. Such apps include (but are not limited to): Media codecs for playback of media in apps and in the browser: VP9 Video Extensions. Web Media Extensions.

TPM 2.0 is used in Windows 11 for a number of features, including Windows Hello for identity protection and BitLocker for data protection. In some cases, PCs that are capable of running TPM 2.0 are not set up to do so. If you are considering upgrading to Windows 11, check to ensure TPM 2.0 is enabled on your device.
