Cast to a display from a Windows PC. You can wirelessly connect your PC to a TV, projector, or other kind of external display that supports Miracast. Turn on your TV, projector, or other display. If you're using a Miracast dongle or adapter, make sure it's plugged in to the display.

The Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter is a strong, reliable way to project your content, photos, and videos to a big screen. Before you begin. Identify your wireless display adapter model. Check which devices are compatible with your adapter. Set up your adapter. Connect the adapter to your display. Connect to your adapter from your Windows PC.

Sending a message. If you haven't already set up messages, do the following: On your PC, in the Phone Link, select Messages. To start a new conversation, select New message. Enter the name or phone number of a contact. Select the person you want to send a message to.

Check the Xbox services, games, and apps for any service outages.

While you can drag content between your phone and your PC, not all apps will accept content you want to transfer. If an app doesn’t accept your content, you can try using phone screen to transfer it instead. You can’t drag and drop files between your mobile apps from your PC.
