How to open PC Health Check. In Windows, use Search on the taskbar to search for “PC Health Check,” then select it from the list of results. If a PC Health Check update is available, you can quickly install it for the latest version.

A notification from Link to Windows will be shown on your mobile device. Clicking the notification will open the default file manager app to view the received file. All received files will be stored under “ Downloads ” -> “ Sent from your PC .”. Note: Only locally saved files can be shared between devices.

Possible causes. Make sure your PC, the external display, and the cable all support DisplayPort or MHL alternate modes. Make sure the device or dongle is connected directly to your PC. Make sure the device or dongle is connected to the USB-C port on your PC that supports the correct Alternate Mode.

If you can't find an app or program, try the tips in See all your apps in Windows 10 and Program is not listed in add/remove programs after installation. If you get an error message when you're uninstalling, try the Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter.

If you are unsure if your device meets the Windows 11 minimum system requirements and have Windows 10 already installed, you can download the PC Health Check app, which will assess eligibility and identify components of your device that don't meet the minimum requirements.

Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features to change whether you're shown app recommendations when trying to install apps from outside the Store.

Find or lock a device in your Microsoft account. If your device is missing, and you've signed in to it with your Microsoft account, you might be able to find it. Here's how: Sign in to account.microsoft.com/devices, then select Find my device. Select the device you want to find, then select Find.
