To make a call on your PC: Open the Phone Link and select Calls. In the Search your contacts box, search for a contact name or number. Alternately, you can directly enter a phone number on the dial pad. Select the Dial icon to start your call.

Skype is going away soon, but users with active subscriptions and Skype Credits are able to use the Skype Dial Pad to continue to make calls to landlines and mobile numbers. You can find the dial pad on the web at calling.web.skype.com or by logging into Microsoft Teams Free.

In Microsoft Teams, calling into a meeting gives participants a way to join the audio portion of a meeting by phone. This is useful when someone can’t use a computer for audio. People who call in can hear and speak during the meeting through their mobile or landline phones. They can join on a second device to view shared content.

Teams Phone Mobile enables you to stay connected no matter where you are. Your SIM-enabled phone number is also your Teams phone number, allowing you to answer and move calls seamlessly between devices. Note: Teams Phone Mobile is only available on SIM-enabled phone numbers provided through your business.

Open the Phone Link and select Calls. Select Get Started. Follow the instructions on your PC. A popup should appear on your device. Select Allow. You should now be connected for Calls. If you choose not set up calls when you first set up the Phone Link, you can always turn it on in the Phone Link settings.

Using a Wi-Fi connection, Apps allows you to browse, play, order, chat, and more — all while using your PC’s larger screen and keyboard. Note: The Phone Link doesn't currently support multiple Android profiles or work/school accounts.

To access your speed dial, go to Calls and then find the Speed dial section on the right side of Teams. Add people to Speed dial by selecting Add , and then searching for their name or number. Make a call from your voicemail: To access your voicemail, go to History and select Voicemail in the upper-right corner.

iOS 15.4 was released on March 14, 2022. This iOS release changed how third-party applications such as Outlook or Teams interact with phone numbers containing special characters. Tapping phone numbers that contain a pound (#) or star (*) symbol in app no longer link to the phone app.
