To make a call on your PC: Open the Phone Link and select Calls. In the Search your contacts box, search for a contact name or number. Alternately, you can directly enter a phone number on the dial pad. Select the Dial icon to start your call.

Teams Phone Mobile enables you to stay connected no matter where you are. Your SIM-enabled phone number is also your Teams phone number, allowing you to answer and move calls seamlessly between devices. Note: Teams Phone Mobile is only available on SIM-enabled phone numbers provided through your business.

In Microsoft Teams, calling into a meeting gives participants a way to join the audio portion of a meeting by phone. This is useful when someone can’t use a computer for audio. People who call in can hear and speak during the meeting through their mobile or landline phones. They can join on a second device to view shared content.

Find a contact or type a person’s name in the search box. Point to the contact’s picture. Click the Phone icon to call the contact with Lync. Click the arrow next to the Phone icon and select a number. When the call is accepted, use the audio controls to mute, unmute, and so on.

When you schedule a Microsoft Teams meeting from Outlook, a dial-in number and conference ID are included automatically. If you have PSTN conferencing enabled in Teams, they are also included.

iOS 15.4 was released on March 14, 2022. This iOS release changed how third-party applications such as Outlook or Teams interact with phone numbers containing special characters. Tapping phone numbers that contain a pound (#) or star (*) symbol in app no longer link to the phone app.

To make a call, tap Calls > and enter a phone number. If you’ve enabled the setting to allow access to your phone contacts, tap Calls > Contacts and select the person you want to call. Use the dial pad on your mobile device to dial numbers from your personal phone number and to make emergency calls to your country-specific emergency number.
