Get started with DAX Copilot for Epic

First, ensure that DAX Copilot SmartSections are added to your note

Your Epic Hyperdrive note must include one or more DAX Copilot SmartSections to display AI-generated summaries. Use an existing SmartPhrase that contains the SmartSections, or add them manually using the following dot phrases:

  • HPI (.hpisec)
  • Assessment and Plan (.apsec)
  • Physical Exam (.pesec)
  • Results (.resultsec)

Record your first patient encounter

  2. Patient consent must be obtained ahead of ambient usage. Follow your organization’s guidelines to obtain patient consent before using Dragon Copilot.
